The circle of life is front and center for me right now, as this is an active season of transitions in our family. My youngest graduated high school, my middle graduated college and is getting married in a few weeks, and my oldest and her husband will welcome their first baby in August. I’m constantly giving thanks for these amazing humans who grace my life. I’m also making sure to get good rest and get my daily meditations in!
In similar fashion, the hospitality industry is picking up steam as the world and travel open up again. This transition from dormant to dynamic will profoundly impact future generations, and become part of the history books. The “circle of life” as we know it in the hospitality industry already looks different, with design and operational changes in full force across the globe. But we now share a universal experience and language that didn’t exist before 2020.
It’s my hope that we’ve become a more unified, compassionate and optimistic collective of humans who value and celebrate each and every moment and experience that we’re given on this beautiful planet.
With much gratitude,
