Cornerstone Nexus Project
Most of us are wishing for those days of leisurely travel to reappear, domestically or internationally. Most likely, we’ll never again take the travel and hospitality industries for granted, and collectively we can help heal our industry by taking steps toward travel and staying at hotel properties again as soon as we’re able. I’ve recently traveled (by car) to three different destinations, and enjoyed amazing experiences at 4 and 5 star properties in the Pacific Northwest. Yes, it’s a different experience these days, but hotel operators are taking greater care than ever to ensure their guests an enjoyable and healthy stay.
Doing our part, the Cornerstone Nexus project has taken off, and we’re providing healthy, durable and wellness solutions to hotel owners and brands. We’ve identified over 50 important considerations in guestrooms alone that deserve higher scrutiny in selection and specification, in order to keep guests safe and hotel owners satisfied with their ROI. Mattresses, bedding, headboards, upholstery and window treatment fabrics, sheeting and towels, and counter surfaces are at the top of our list. We’re reviewing and evaluating performance and cleanability in material selections, and bringing these forward in our design packages. When you sit in that guestroom task chair, or go to bed at night in that hotel room, we’re doing our part to create the safest environment possible for you, our cherished guest.
So go ahead and make that reservation at a destination of your choosing! We can all do our part in getting our world back to work, and healing Hospitality. Collectively speaking, of course.
